House Keeping and Personal Care
The elderly and those with disabilities deserve worry-free living in the comfort of their homes. We realize that no two clients are the same. We work with clients and they represent to deliver customized housekeeping and personal care services. Light House Keeping duties include dusting, vacuuming, tidying up of kitchen, organizing closets, change bed linens, Light laundry/Ironing, load & unload the dishwasher, help organize cupboards, tidy up the bathroom, and sweep hardwood or bare floors. Personal Care duties include monitoring bathing for safety, bathing assistance, personal hygiene, grooming assistance, continence care, and dressing assistance.
Transportation and Errands
Our Caregivers serve as a connection to the outside world for our clients. We perform errands and transportation services that allow our clients to receive services and goods that are critical to healthy living. Our errands and transportation services include grocery and clothes shopping, buying stamps and mail packages, pick up prescriptions, take Doctor appointments, attend church services, theatre / movie events, dine out for meals, drive to family gatherings, and handle dry cleaning.
Transition Care Service
Golden Light offers a unique transition care service for Seniors who need additional care during a transition phase. Seniors often need extra care following surgery, an accident, or illness. Golden Light has highly trained service care workers who provide short-term high-quality service support to Seniors.
Other Services
We tailor our services to the needs of the client. Clients can select from a slate of additional to create a unique service plan. Other duties provided by Golden Light Home Care include Companionship, Conversation, cook together, pet care, supervise home maintenance, play board games, arts and crafts projects, answer the phone, do crossword puzzles, watch TV, and monitoring for security and safety.
